“The lack of housing happens when households
are treated as a goods and not as a human right”
Leilani Farha
In Spain there are 31,000 people living on the street. Homelessness is a complex phenomenon rooted in economic inequality, social exclusion, lack of access to basic rights and the invisibility of people who suffer from it.
Our objective is to solve the homelessness problem. Because we do not make a do with managing social exclusion situations, we commit for the development of innovative methodologies and for the assessment of the impact our work has in the lives of people.
OF THE PEOPLE WHO LIVE IN THE STREET TAKE MORE THAN THREE YEARS IN THIS SITUATION

Housing First is a way of working that has radically changed how we intervene with homeless people. The results of this models in countries such as the United States of America, Canada and Finland prove that it is possible to eradicate chronic homelessness in our cities.
Habitat is the program HOGAR SÍ is developing in Spain, based on the Housing First methodology, with very positive results both for the lives of people and for the economic efficiency of the program. The success rate of its implementation is 100%.
We commit to put housing at the center of attention to the homeless. We have projects for young homeless from 18 to 25 years of age and autonomous homeless with basic economic means.
We know that ending homelessness is possible,
but we need your support to ensure that no
person lives on the street.
